In 2014, Gan started to engage her work with media locally and internationally. Throughout these years, Gan constantly shares different stories she discovered during her travel and adventure days with everyone through newspapers in Malaysia (Sin Chew Daily, Oriental Daily) and Singapore (Lianhe Zaobao), radio interviews in Malaysia (Melody FM, AiFM, CityPlus FM) and Singapore (UFM1003, 963 96.3 Hao FM).
“ 阿甘與各大媒體的緣分始於2014年的夏季。
當時正在西藏的阿甘接受了馬來西亞東方日報的越洋訪問，而後也陸續為該報撰寫好幾篇旅遊稿，與報章的合作從此變得頻密，不間斷。2016年阿甘創辦了一項跨國文化交流的旅遊計畫“Project Rasa Sayang”。此計畫深受媒體好評報導，阿甘因此受邀到了馬來西亞及新加坡的電台接受專訪，更獲新加坡聯合早報旅遊版主編的邀約，到該報舉辦的年度旅遊講座演講，把計畫進行時遇到的點點滴滴分享給過百位的讀者。這些年的旅遊方式與歷險過程拉進了阿甘與媒體朋友們的距離，也透過這些媒介把路上遇見的故事說給更多人聽。”
